Yoga fundraiser for affordable housing - Yes on Prop 10!

Support the movement to protect and create affordable housing by partaking in a fundraising yoga session. This hour-long class will be taught by a certified yoga instructor and is suitable for all levels. Whether you have never done yoga before, or have been practicing for years, we encourage your attendance to raise much needed money to help Prop 10 succeed and advance the fight for strong rent control in California!

The Affordable Housing Act, or Prop 10, is a statewide measure on the NOV. 6 ballot that will give local communities the power to adopt rent control necessary to address the state’s housing affordability crisis by repealing the Costa-Hawkins Rental Housing Act that currently restricts cities from setting their own rent control policies.

Landlords and real estate developers are joining forces and spending millions of dollars to deceive voters about this critical measure -- we must do everything we can to defeat them. The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) is one of many progressive organizations that has endorsed the Yes on Prop 10 campaign ( https://voteyesonprop10.org), and we will be distributing information and doing outreach across California to spread the word to vote YES ON PROP 10!

The suggested donation is $15, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds! Please bring your mat if you have one, but we will provide some for those who need them.
