Join PSL Pittsburgh in watching two episodes of teleSUR's Empire Files with Abby Martin.
We will first watch the episode, "What the Russian Revolution Proved Possible" about the Bolshevik revolution and what it means for our struggle against capitalism today and what we can learn from socialist revolutions of the past.
This episode is based on PSL’s new book “Storming the Gates: How the Russian Revolution Changed the World”.

The second episode is titled " The History of Anti-Communism — America’s Unofficial Religion" and it is dedicated to the roots of anti-communism in the US and the critical role communist movement played in achieving gains for the working and poor people, from the right to a union to social security to laws preventing child labor and many more.

Both episodes are half an hour in length and will be followed by a discussion, and we invite everyone to share their thoughts.
