Class Struggle Cinema Volume 2 presents...
Join the Party for Socialism and Liberation for a free to the public screening of a short documentary by the United National Peace Conference Media Project featuring experiences and testimony by Iraq war veterans.
In an era when the US regime is waging war against Syria, while also beating the war drums towards DPRK, Iran, and recklessly provoking Russia, in cold war style, we must consider the heinous acts of war poor and working class folks engage in on the battlefield against their poor and oppressed sisters and brothers around the world. These crimes are normalized and, in many cases, encouraged by military
and politicians in the service of US imperialism in the quest for total domination and submission of all nations who refuse to follow the dictates of the empire.
This film is free to the public and will begin close to 6pm. There will be snacks provided for those who would like to join us for an evening of film, history, and discussion!
*The Party for Socialism and Liberation is a revolutionary socialist party that struggles for worker's rights, LGBTQ liberation, immigrant rights, and against imperialist wars and bigotry on all fronts. We are a party comprised of leaders and activists, workers and students, of all backgrounds representing all oppressed sectors of our society.
We are united in our belief that capitalism—the system in which all wealth and power is held by a tiny group of billionaires and their state—is the source of the main problems confronting humanity today. It must be replaced by socialism, a system where poor and working people have power and the wealth of society is used in a planned and sustainable way to meet people’s needs.
Our mission is to link the everyday struggles of oppressed and exploited people to the fight for a new world. Join us!
