Angry at Trump’s program of racism, homophobia, transphobia, hatred of immigrants and hatred of all workers’ rights? Frustrated by the Democrats who always tell us to wait until the next election… and then the next election… and the next in one great frustrating circle?
A grassroots Peoples Congress of Resistance will convene in Washington DC on Sept 16-17th. Join resisters from LGBTQ groups to Black Lives Matter to immigrant groups, climate justice, women’s rights organizations as we unite our communities in real resistance.
Organizers and everyday people who want to fight back will be meeting in DC to build a People's platform. The platform will chart a path of nationwide grassroots resistance and mobilization to defeat Trump's reactionary program of unrestrained capitalism. This path will draw on the experiences of the grassroots, amplifying the voices and spreading the tactics of those who are already fighting back to defend their communities.
So come learn more about about the People's Congress of Resistance and how you or your organization can bring your ideas and experiences to the People's Platform.
In order to defeat Trump's attacks on communities across the country, we must unite and stand up! Only the power of the people can stop the onslaught of cuts that Trump and his administration is proposing. The people can resist - and together we will succeed.
