Capitalist Parties Exploit Orlando Massacre:

The massacre of of 49 patrons of the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando has left the country in shock and mourning. But both capitalist parties, as well as their candidates Trump and Clinton, also used the massacre to opportunistically forward their agendas for mass surveillance and anti-Muslim bigotry (masquerading as "gun control.") Clinton echoed the bigoted Trump, calling the shooting 'radical Islam'.

While Clinton claims to be an ally of the LGBTQ community, she long opposed marriage equality, echoed Nancy Reagan's record on AIDS and is in the pocket of the banks, militarists and prison contractors who are the number one enemy of working class LGBTQ people. Gloria La Riva's socialist presidential campaign has been in the streets all month in vigils, rallies and Pride marches alongside LGBTQ and Muslim people to reject the divide-and-conquer rhetoric, show solidarity with Orlando and build the movement against anti-LGBTQ bigotry and both capitalist parties.

Paying Homage to Muhammad Ali--The People's Champ!

Muhammad Ali was not just "the greatest" for what he did athletically, but because of the fear he struck into the hearts of the racist ruling class. He joined the Black liberation movement and was jailed in the prime of his career because he refused to join the invading army in Vietnam.

Upon the news of his death, the corporate media rapidly moved to whitewash and downplay this political legacy. Come hear a presentation about how revolutionaries today stand on his shoulders, following his example of confidence, courage and internationalism.
