Join the Liberation School at the Justice Center en El Barrio for a public study group on how imperialism has changed in the 21st century. To defeat the U.S. war machine, first we have to fully understand it.
The book “Imperialism in the 21st Century” revisits and updates the analysis of Russian revolutionary Vladmir Ilyich Lenin, who showed how the monopoly stage of capitalism had produced imperialist wars, and only social revolution could bring them to an end. Two world wars of unimaginable destruction confirmed Lenin’s basic thesis and also led to a complete reorganization of world politics.
Through guided reading, discussion and presentations, join both beginners and experts to better understand Lenin’s theoretical work on Imperialism and how we can view today’s world events through that same scientific lens.
