Liberation School | How Change Happens: From Here to Revolution

Working class struggles and struggles of oppressed people have long been sanitized to conform to the viewpoint of the super-rich, or ignored altogether.

What is our TRUE history? How do progressive movements begin? What came before? How did social movements make what once seemed impossible look inevitable?

From union struggles to better working conditions, to Civil Rights, to women’s rights to LGBTQ rights - we will look at how gains were REALLY made. We will examine some of the early struggles that ignited what followed.

The struggles of the past contain important keys to our present and future work. We study the past, not as sterile acedemics, but as fighters learning the lessons of our true history - lessons paid for by the blood and sweat of past working class heroes.
