Honoring the Legacy of Fidel Castro
Latin America and the international working class lost one of its greatest defenders this week, Fidel Castro. U.S. intelligence attempted to kill Fidel more than 300 times and crush socialism only 90 miles from their shore, but they failed. This week the Cuban people are mourning Fidel's loss, as are revolutionaries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and here inside the "belly of the beast." Join the PSL as we honor Fidel's legacy of resistance and understand why he was the "best hated and most calumniated" by the imperialists and the most loved by oppressed peoples worldwide.
What's Trump's Real Agenda?
Donald Trump has began to assemble his cabinet of right-wing billionaires, war-mongers, anti-Muslim bigots and misogynists. On January 20th the progressive forces of the U.S. will line the inauguration parade route to say no to President Trump's reactionary agenda, and no to the lie that xenophobia and racism will "make America great again." Participate in a discussion and organizing session about how we are continuing to build resistance against not only Trump, but the whole capitalist system that he represents.
