The Party for Socialism and Liberation invites you to a discussion and presentation on the following topics:

Aleppo: the end of unrivaled U.S. hegemony?

Like a demon possessed, the U.S. propaganda machine went into overdrive two weeks ago. Their primary targets: Syria and Russia. Due to the intense imperialist demonization campaign of the Syrian and Russian governments, there is a lot of confusion among the U.S. public — and even among people who consider themselves leftists and socialists. Now Russia is spearheading a peace agreement with Iran and Turkey that threatens to leave the U.S. in the cold. Come hear a presentation on what is at stake in Syria and why Washington is panicking.

Trump's foreign policy: disposing of delicate frameworks

Last week, President elect Donald Trump bragged about expanding the U.S. nuclear arsenal, telling MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski “Let it be an arms race.” He is threatening to overturn the foundation of East Asia policy with anti-Chinese and pro-Taiwan rhetoric. He has selected a rabid Zionist as his ambassador to Israel. Participate in a discussion on understanding these reactionary shifts in the U.S. government's foreign policy and the importance of protesting Trump's inauguration on January 20th and beyond.
