Liberation Flicks Presents: From Auburn to San Quentin - Free Them All! (A Fundraiser)

At the age of eighteen, George Jackson was sentenced to serve one year to life sentence after being accused of stealing $70 from a gas station. Jackson became a Field Marshal of the Black Panther Party while in prison, where he served 12 years of his life. His book of published letters, "Soledad Brother," became an instant classic. His legacy is important to remember today in the struggle for ending mass incarceration.

At the age of 25, Ronald Williams has been incarcerated at Rikers for two years over a crime he did not commit. Our criminal “justice” system works to enslave Black men and women daily. We are raising money for a criminal appeals lawyer to stop another Black man from being wrongfully criminalized and locked away due to racist police tactics.

Join us as we build community, discuss George Jackson's legacy, and raise funds for a criminal appeals lawyer for Ronald Williams. Light refreshments and food will be served.
