Join us this Friday as we discuss the recent death of Erica Snipes Garner. Erica started organizing immediately after her father, Eric, was murdered on July 17, 2017, by undercover officer Daniel Pantaleo. On December 30, 2017, Erica Snipes Garner passed away at the age of 27. Erica was hospitalized Christmas Eve after having a heart attack and leaves behind two young children. Erica carried on the long tradition of Black Women, mothers and children standing on the frontlines for their slain family members. 

The F.B.I.’s Dangerous Crackdown on ‘Black Identity Extremists’ - a leaked FBI ‘Intelligence Assessment’ contains troubling signs that the FBI is scrutinizing and possibly surveilling Black activists in its search for potential “extremists.” The people need to know more about the FBI’s records on surveilling activist from the J. Edgar Hoover days to now. 

Monday January 15th commemorates Dr. King, but the legendary civil rights organizer’s final years in the anti-war and working-class movements are often omitted. Join us as we speak on Dr. King’s often overlooked radical legacy and the need for a revived movement to challenge the triple evils of poverty, racism and militarism. 

Thousands of Salvadorans are being targeted in most recent attack against Temporary Protective Status. There are 192,700 - U.S. born children of the Salvadoran TPS recipients, according to research by the Center of Migration Studies. A total of 273,000 children of Salvadoran, Haitian and Honduran TPS recipients were born in the U.S. The racist, anti-immigrant offensive by Trump’s government must be strongly opposed by all. There are no borders in the workers’ struggle. 

The Tet Offensive was one of the largest military campaigns of the Vietnam War. The Tet Offensive was a stunning show of power, coordination and will. The fact that such a far-ranging and multi-faceted assault caught the occupation army completely by surprise only added to its devastating impact. Today marks the the 50-year anniversary of the Tet Offensive! Join us as we discuss how Vietnamese Workers Party and the fighters in the armed movements were able to overcome very serious obstacles - domestic and international - to emerge triumphant, was further testimony of their politics, organization and determination to defeat U.S. Imperialism!
