President Trump has refused to recertify Iran’s compliance with the nuclear accord. The International Atomic Energy Agency, all permanent members of the UN Security Council, and even Trump’s own Secretary of Defense James Mattis, have stated that Iran is complying. But Trump, and the far right wing of the U.S. foreign policy establishment, have always opposed any agreements with Iran.
