We must hit the streets! We must demand the Senate Judiciary Committee deny confirmation of sexist Judge Brett Kavanaugh!

Despite damning testimony from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her, and despite record numbers of people in his opposition, the senate still looks aimed to approve him for a position on the Supreme Court this week. And the stakes for women could not be higher. Trump selected Kavanaugh to continue the war on women, and if confirmed he will likely vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

A Supreme Court with Kavanaugh will likely uphold capital punishment and solitary confinement. It will likely weaken anti-discrimination laws, LGBTQ rights and end affirmative action. The court would shift even further to the right on the environment, civil rights, fair housing, voting rights and disability rights.

We can’t let Congress force an undemocratic confirmation on the people they claim to serve!
