Under the leadership of Hugo Chavez and now President Nicolas Maduro, the people of Venezuela have fought to preserve their country's independence and build a socialist society where poor and working people have the power.

But the revolution is under intense attack from both the U.S. government and the country's own wealthy elites. The corporate media presents the hardships and conflict in Venezuela as a failure of socialism, but this couldn't be further from reality. We'll discuss the truth about the situation in Venezuela.
