Guest Speakers, Panels, Discussion
The criminal occupation of Iraq is now in its seventh year, having cost millions of lives and hundreds of millions of dollars every day. Meanwhile, over 20,000 workers are being laid off every day, and millions of workers have been evicted or foreclosed from their homes. Yet, when the banks and corporations that caused this crisis are in a bind, Washington hands over trillions of dollars in bailouts using our tax dollars. Adding insult to injury, the epidemic of police brutality and anti-gang injunctions are only intensifying.
This is the reality of capitalism. It is organized crime. But is this the way it has to be? No. Socialism is an alternative to this criminal system. Socialism puts human needs over private profits. Join us for a Conference on Socialism hosted by the PSL on Sunday, April 19 in Washington, D.C. Find out what we stand for and how to get involved at PSLweb.org. Be part of the struggle for socialism!
